Sunday, A Day of Rest

We gave the garden a rest today and, instead, opened the pool. It's the earliest we have ever opened the pool and, remarkably, there was no algae growth.  The pool was crystal clear.  We will be having a new heater installed within a few weeks.

UPDATE:  Decided at 6pm to move all the tomato seedlings into the hoophouse. They were placed on the pea stone near the raised beds.  I am considering buying another wire shelving unit for the hoophouse.

With the tomatoes in the hoophouse, the peppers and eggplants could now be moved to the shelving unit in front of the slider.  The growlights on the kitchen are no longer needed and were put away for the season.  It felt good to open up the space again.
