Rainy Day Chore

With a rainy day in store, I shifted my efforts to those chores inside the hoophouse. I decided to plant Livingston Color Mix, Danvers Half Long and Tendersweet carrots in the hoophouse raised beds.

Even on a day without sun, the Giant Pansies are such happy plants!

Postscript #1 - An opposum was sighted nibbling on grass in the middle of the back yard. Last year he munched on ripened tomatoes and that caused steam to come out of my ears!  I do hope he moves on to another home for his summer residence. 

Postscript #2 - Fruit has appeared on the Independence Day tomato plants. Will they be ripe by the 4th of July?
