Container Cucumbers

Today's focus was to plant four large containers of cucumbers: Green Dragon Burpless and Muncher cucumbers that will be trained up the railing of the deck and Spacemaster Bush and Homemade Pickles that will be trained up the gazebo frame, if needed. I also planted green beans into these four containers: Provider Bush into the Green Dragon and Muncher containers and Masai Haricot Bush into the Spacemaster and Homemade Pickles containers.

In addition, I did the following tasks:

• Planted Armenian Cucumbers near the white trellis to replace the pole beans that never germinated. 
• Covered the wooden shelf on the baker's rack with tile rescued from the basement. 
• Repaired the window box again. It appears the rainwater runs down the roof and splashes the potting soil out of the box. There must be leaves or dirt that has clogged the gutter and causes the rain to fall over at that spot.
